My name is Gillian, and I'm a Software Technical Leader at Duo Security / Cisco Systems, working on threat detection features like Cisco Identity Intelligence. I previously worked on Risk-Based Authentication and Duo Trust Monitor. My passion for building stemmed from being a playful video-gamer at a young age. To satisfy my interests, I would then learn how to code my own games, and later study Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University.

Whether I'm building a complex distributed system or a simple landing page, my goal is always the same: to create something that's meaningful and that feels solid, reliable, and effortless to use.
